Introduction

We want to see individuals, communities, and academics using creativity and the arts to co-produce research that really makes a difference to people’s lives.

What we do

We’re conducting arts-based, participatory research. We do this by bringing communities, artists, and academics together as equal partners to share and develop knowledge.

To us, participation means collaboratively producing the questions, methods, and dissemination of research. We see artistic and creative methods as essential to this process. This means providing a creative space for our community partners to tell their stories, and thinking broadly about how the arts can inform co-produced research.

Resources for academics

We’re also working on events, training, and resources on participatory, arts-based research. Ultimately, we aim to develop a methodology and set of tools that can be used for any work in community settings.
